Sparta Police: Drug Charges for Passenger

SPARTA, NJ – A traffic stop led to drug charges for a Jersey City woman on February 7 around 11:30 a.m. on Route 15 North. Officer Steven Guido stopped driver Curtis Evans because his Nissan Murano did not have a front license plate and tinted windows according to police.

Guido smelled marijuana in the car.  Evans said the passenger Maria Javier, 39, had smoked pot in the car.  ...
