Newton Police: Traffic Stop for Speeding Ends with Drug Charges

NEWTON, NJ—A Somerset man is facing charges for possession after he was pulled over on Main Street for speeding. On October 10, around 12:29 a.m. Newton Police officer Ptl. Steven Kneidl stopped Nicholas Guzman, 19 for going 42 MPH in a 25 MPH zone, police said.

While speaking to Guzman, Office Kneidl smelled raw marijuana in the car, according to police.
