SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – The coronavirus claimed its first Sussex County victim on Friday.  According to an announcement from the Sussex County Department of Health, a 68-year-old Newton resident had been admitted to Newton Medical Center on March 25 and passed away on March 27.

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – Newton and Wantage are second only to Sparta in the number of identified positive cases of the coronavirus. The Sussex County Department of Health has reported an additional 25 confirmed cases of COVID-19 among the residents of the county as of March 27.  This puts the total number of patients at 72.
