CRESSKILL, NJ – Students from Pride Martial Arts recently participated in the 2018 Masters Cup Taekwondo Championship.  Several Sparta residents were among the winners at the event in Cresskill on April 28.

  • Ava Rockey: First place in form, Third place in breaking, Second place in Sparring
  • Alex McCann: Second place in form, Third place in breaking
  • Cole Hackett: Third place in form, Second place in breaking
  • Dhruv Patel: First place in form, First place in breaking, Second place in sparring.
  • Ella DiNardo: First place in form, First place in breaking
  • Emma Burke: First place in form, Second place in breaking
  • Gianna Masucci: First place in form, First place in breaking, Third place in sparring
  • Josh Colussi: First place in form, First place in breaking
  • Mahi Patel: First place in form, Third place in breaking
  • Nate Burke: First place in form, First place in breaking
  • Rudra Patel: Second place in form, Second place in breaking
  • Ryan Post: Second place in form
  • Sophia Horan: Second place in form. Second place in breaking, First place in sparring

According to Head Master Brian Yu the school also earned the Best School trophy.  Pride Martial Arts is located in the ACME shopping plaza on Oak Ridge Road in Oak Ridge.
