WANTAGE, NEW JERSEY – UNDER MY WING AVIAN REFUGE today received the GuideStar Exchange Seal, a leading symbol of transparency and accountability provided by GuideStar USA, Inc., the premier source of nonprofit information. The Seal demonstrates to YOUR ORGANIZATION's vast support-base our deep commitment to nonprofit transparency and accountability.

In order to be awarded the GuideStar Exchange Seal, YOUR ORGANIZATION had to fill out every required field of our nonprofit report page on www.guidestar.org, including our annual report, photos, videos, etc.

SPARTA, NJ – A Vernon man was arrested on drug charges after getting stopped for speeding on West Mountain Road.  On November 17 around 4 p.m., Sparta Police Officer Timothy Lynott pulled over a grey Ford driven by Michael Gubich for driving 60 in a 30 MPH zone, police say.

A study published in the journal Cancer Research this past week looked at the oral health of over 120,000 people in the U.S. for 10 years and found a 21% increase in the risk of esophageal cancer when people had gum disease caused by certain kinds of bacteria.
