Annual Taste of Newton Event Brings Hundreds to Spring Street

NEWTON, NJ—Over 300 people filled Spring Street on Monday night to indulge in food and drink creations from local restaurants.

The event, which ran from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m., included 21 different restaurants who shared some of their local dishes and drinks with the event goers.

Oroho and Space hail grants to provide food for low-income families

Sen. Steve Oroho and Assemblyman Parker Space today commended the award of more than $130,000 in community services block grants to provide food and diapers to low-income families. Gov.
