SPARTA, NJ- A Sparta High School Alumnus is doing his part to “flatten the curve,” while supporting children in need.  Jack Valentine began his efforts with University of Vermont classmate Angie Salvi selling t-shirts with a “Flatten the Curve” message and logo.

They expanded their efforts with a weeklong Flatten the Curve Virtual Run-a-thon “ 100% of the proceeds going to the No Kid Hungry organization.”  The run began on Friday and will continue through May 8.  He is looking for participants and donors.

“The weeklong challenge to walk, jog or run as many miles as possible,” Valentine said.  His team will be adding $1 per mile recorded.
