SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ - After a small stretch of warm weather, and disappearance of the snow left after most of the previous storms, Sussex County residents, businesses, and municipalities are preparing for yet another expected two to four inches of the white stuff.

Some areas in Sussex County are already seeing the beginning of light rain (Hopatcong), or snow (Vernon and Newton).
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory, and Hazardous Weather Outlook through 3 p.m. tomorrow, with sleet and snow starting shortly, turning into snow overnight, and freezing rain expected in the mix, in time for the morning commute, with accumulations expected to happen quickly.

Ice accumulation predicted is 0.05 to 0.10 inches.

Travel is anticipated to be difficult, with visibility on the roads expected to be a half a mile or less.

GeoEnvironmental Atmosphere, a group based in Easton, Pa., has been tracking the storm, and Andrew Fleck, one of their representatives, said they will continue to through the night.

The group has provided this exact forecast, and detailed information about the storm, on its website.

Fleck said south of what he referred to as the I-78 (Interstate 78) boundary, it will be ice and rain.

When asked about weather conditions east of Sussex County he replied, "More towards New York City, you'll get less precipitation."

Fleck estimated it at one to two inches towards the city. He said at isolated locations in higher elevations, the accumulation may reach five to six inches.

"It will be two to four inches in most locations [in Sussex County]," said Fleck.

He said their Facebook Fans, including those who may be checking on through The Alternative Press from this article, may inquire directly on the group's Facebook Page, if there are specific questions about the weather.

"We're very personal with people," Fleck said. "When people give a shout out with their location, we will take maps and zoom in to the specific location."

The Weather Channel is calling for two to three inches of snow to be on the ground by 4:30 a.m. for most parts of the county.

WSUS 102.3 is already reporting delays and closures for some schools, and businesses for tomorrow morning, including 90 minute delays at Frankford Township, Sussex Christian School, and the Sussex Wantage School Districts. Immaculate Conception School  and Veritas Christian Academy are currently reporting a two-hour delay for tomorrow morning. The Green Township Municipal Building will be closed tomorrow, and court rescheduled. Sussex County Meals on Wheels, and the Vernon Nutrition Site will both be closed tomorrow.

The Alternative Press will continue to provide news and updates when available, as well information and news on The Alternative Press of Sussex County's Facebook Page.
