ROXBURY, NJ - Kitchin Dentistry, situated at 40 Main Street in Succasunna, is hosting a "Halloween Candy Buy Back," a program in which it pays kids for their extra candy and sends the donated goodies to members of the military serving overseas and to first-responders at home.
"The Halloween Candy Buy Back program is a great way to thank and support our troops and teach children the importance of giving back to those who serve," said a statement from the dental office. "Kids and parents can bring extra Halloween candy to our office on Nov. 5 through Nov. 7 during the hours of 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Kids will receive $1 for every pound of candy that they donate."
The candy will be donated to Operation Shoebox and distributed in care packages to U.S. military men and women deployed overseas and to local first responders. "The candy is a great treat for our troops and a great reminder that they are appreciated for all they do for our country," said Kitchin Dentistry.
