Sussex Stags Football Team to Hold Fourth Annual Golf Outing

NEWTON, NJ—The Sussex County Stags will be holding their fourth annual gold outing on Saturday June 23.

Arrival time is 11:30 a.m. at the Minebrook Golf Club located at 500 Schooleys Mountain Road in Hackettstown. Golfing will begin at 1 p.m. and tickets can be purchased online at www.sussexstags.com.

Newton Boys Tennis Team Loses to Rival Kittatinny in First Round of Tournament

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School boys tennis team lost in the first round of the NJSIAA, North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1 tournament on Friday, when they played Kittatinny.

Newton entered the tournament as the 13-seeded team and took on Kittatinny in Round 1 who was the fourth-seeded team. The final score was 1-4.

 

Newton Lacrosse Team Lose Four in a Row Before Tournament, Lose in First Round

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School team lost four games in a row last week before they played in the NJSIAA tournament at the end of the week.

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School baseball team played away against Mount Olive on Friday, May 18 and won 8-6.
