Newton Softball Team Defeats Vernon Then Demolishes Orange

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School softball team played away against Vernon on Tuesday, winning 9-1 and then hosted Orange, demolishing them 21-0. Mayhood was on the mound for both wins.  She had a no hitter in four innings against Orange with 11 K's.  Against Vernon Mayhood had eight strikeouts, allowing only four hits.

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School baseball team played away against Hackettstown on Tuesday losing by one with a final score of 8-7 and then played away against Jefferson on Wednesday, losing 6-3.

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School Lacrosse team beat Warren Hills, when they hosted them on Saturday 10-7.
