NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School  field hockey team won 2-1 over High Point when they played them home on Friday.

Victoria Docherty and Jade Luciani scored for the Braves. Lauren Barbato was credited with an assist.

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School football team lost their first game this season, when they played at Wallkill Valley on Friday and lost 13-12.
