Newton Boys Lacrosse Moves Past Kittatinny to NJSIAA North Group 1 Quarterfinals

NEWTON. NJ—The Newton High School lacrosse team won 12-6 over rivals Kittatinny in the first round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Group 1 Tournament.

NEWTON. NJ—The Newton Golf team lost 157-193 when they hosted Vernon on Thursday, May 12 on their home course at the Newton Country Club.

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School baseball team won 12-11 over Madison when they battled them on the road Thursday, May 12.

NEWTON, NJ – The Braves only needed six innings to get by Lenape Valley on Monday.  Jack Young was on the hill for Newton throwing 68 pitches in six innings work for the win.  He had six Ks and allowed three hits in the outing.

NEWTON, NJ – Newton boys lacrosse won the defensive battle on Thursday, ending with a 9-6 victory over Kinnelon.  Playing on Brave’s turf, Newton’s keeper Rylan Ivaldi stopped nine shots from the Colts.
