NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School boys soccer team beat north Warren on Friday, 3-1 when they played them away.

Remy Ivaldi put two in the net and Toby Woolridge had one goal for Newton. Assists were made by Jackson Heller and Robert Giordano.

The Braves scored their first goal in the first half, but so did North Warren. Newton came back in the second to score two more goals to secure the win.

The Newton High School boys soccer team is 13-6-1 overall and 10-5 in the NJAC conference. The NJSIAA North 1, Group 2 tournament begins on Tuesday, October 29. Seven-seeded Newton will play home against 10-seeded Elmwood Park.
