NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School boys soccer team crushed Wallkill Valley 5-1 when they hosted them on Wednesday.

The Braves outshot Wallkill Valley 12-5. They scored three goals in the first half and two more in the second to secure the win.

Robert Giordano, InmerCaal Coc, Toby Woolridge, Owen Power, and Kymani Byrd scored for Newton. Two assists were made by Luke Kerrick and one from Luca Morello.

Newton’s keeper Jackson Heller stopped five Rangers. The Braves will host rivals Kittatinny on Friday, September 27, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
