NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School boys soccer team shut out their rivals from Kittatinny 6-0 when they hosted them on Friday.

The Braves dominated the Cougars when it came to shots on goal. Newton took 18, while Kittatinny was only able to get one.

The Braves had two keepers split the time in net; starter Jackson Heller and Austin Sawler.  They each stopped a Kittatinny shot.

InmerCaal Coc had two goals for Newton. Robert Giordano, Toby Woolridge, Ryan Ayoso, and Owen Power each had one goal.

Assists were made by Woolridge, Luke Kerrick, Steven Bottone, Vincent Manni, and Luca Morello.

The Newton High School boys soccer team is currently 7-2 so far this season. They will play away against High Point beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 3.
