NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School girls soccer team won 2-0 over Morris Hills on Wednesday, when they played them on the Scarlet Knights field.

Newton out shot Morris Hills 17-6. Blaise Vallorosi and Jessie Brannick got past the Knight's goalie for the Braves.

Taylor Squiers had the only assist in the game. Newton’s two keepers Madeline Gore and Caroline Fox had a combined total of five saves. Gore had two and Fox had three.

The Newton High School girls soccer team who has a current record of 2-2-1 overall this season, will host Sparta on Saturday, September 14 beginning at 10 a.m.
