MORRISTOWN, NJ -  The Newton Lenape Valley ice hockey team took down Morris Catholic on Thursday at Mennen Arena with a 7-1 win. NLV would get three power play goals and a hat trick from Ryan Lynch.

Cameron Cherry was first on the board for NLV, the first of two for the night. Lynch was next.  Lynch ended the game with three points.  Two of the goals were unassisted.  Lynch was assisted by Lukas Krauklis on one of NLV’s three power play goals.

Mike Smith scored a power play goal assisted by Joey Baty and Ryan Flannery-Garlick.  Baty went on to score on a power play assisted by Smith.

T Kaplan stopped 11 shots from Morris Catholic.  NLV put 26 shots on the Morris Catholic net.

NLV will take on High Point on Saturday at 6 p.m. on their home ice at Skylands Ice World.
