Sparta High School Alumnus Graduates from Marine Corp Boot Camp

SPARTA, NJ - Sparta High School alumnus recently graduated from boot camp at the Marine Corp Recruiting Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina.  Nicholas Macierowski completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training on August 18.

Macierowski earned the title Expert Marksman and was an artist for his Platoon 2058. 

The next step for Macierowski is combat infantry training at Camp Geiger in North Carolina.  He will then transfer to Pensacola, Florida for training in aviation mechanics.

The 20-year-old graduated from Sparta in 2015 and is the son of Glenn and Elizabeth Macierowski.
