LANSDALE, Pa. - A Lansdale barber is wanted by police for allegedly stabbing another barber with scissors inside Finest Barbershop Wednesday afternoon.
A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Junior DiBartolo, 24, of the 100 block of Oakland Avenue, Lansdale, in the alleged assault on his co-worker with scissors on Wednesday at the 318 W. Main St. establishment, police said.
DiBartolo is on the run. Lansdale Police are asking residents to call 215-368-1801 if they have any information on DiBartolo's whereabouts.
DiBartolo is charged with first- and second-degree felony aggravated assault, two counts of misdemeanor simple assault, reckless endangerment, possessing an instrument of crime, harassment and disorderly conduct, police said.
On Wednesday, at 4:50 p.m., police responded to Abington Health-Lansdale Hospital for a report of a stabbing victim.
Officers met with the adult male victim, who had three stab wounds to his upper left torso, police said.
Police said DiBartolo got into an argument about their customers with the alleged victim. The two men agreed to step outside to fight and settle their argument, police said.
At that time, DiBartolo allegedly picked up a pair of scissors and stabbed the victim several times, police said.
DiBartolo then allegedly fled on foot, police said. A co-worker drove the alleged victim to the hospital.
