The Lower Gwynedd Business Association (LGBA) has signed a chapter agreement with the PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce (PSCC), one of the largest business organizations in Montgomery County. This is the first chapter agreement that the PSCC has forged with a business association and its members.

The partnership will be beneficial for both organizations. For members of the LGBA, the relationship with the chamber will expose their businesses to a broader audience in the greater Montgomery County area and increase networking opportunities. LGBA members who do not also have membership in the PSCC will be able to participate in PSCC events at discounted rates. For the chamber, providing the LGBA with marketing support for their programs, as well as discounts on chamber events, will introduce LGBA member businesses to the benefits of chamber membership.

Gregory Harth, president of the LGBA, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating “It’s a win-win for both organizations. Our chapter status is helping to create greater awareness of the Lower Gwynedd business community. It’s also helping to foster commerce for LGBA members by providing incremental promotional opportunities within a broader, complementary geographic area. At the same time, it is introducing our members to the merits of being a part of a much larger entity like the chamber.”

The LGBA—a nonprofit organization comprised of more than 100 small business members located in Lower Gwynedd Township—was re-formed in 2012 to spread awareness to local residents about the diversity of businesses serving the township. The association is committed to the growth and success of the business community and— in collaboration with the township—strives to create a thriving and attractive destination for potential new businesses.
