Wednesday morning marked the return of elementary Catholic school students to Mater Dei Catholic School in Lansdale.
The day began with kindergarteners through eighth graders lining up in a procession outside St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, where, with hands in pious prayer, they entered the church and sat in its pews.
The theme for the school this year is the inspiration of The Virgin Mother Mary in students' lives. The ceremony Wednesday featured re-enactment of various moments in history where Mary appeared to children through the guidance of God.
