'The Hunger Games,' 'Frozen,' Pysanky, Hypertufa and More at Lansdale Parks

Katniss comes to Lansdale's White's Road Park Aug. 21

Lansdale Parks and Recreation will premiere "The Hunger Games" at its Movies in the Park event at 8 p.m. The event is free.

Disney's Oscar-winning "Frozen" comes to White's Road Park on May 30

The fantastic "The LEGO Movie" will be shown in the park on July 31.

It is one of many events being planned for the spring and summer by the parks department.

The next event: a Pysanky workshop on Saturday. The morning session from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. is open. Find out more here.

After that, the Montgomery County Master Gardener Program comes to Lansdale Parks and Recreation for three gardening events: Hypertufa Planters (fee involved) on March 27, Raised Bed Gardening on April 3 and Cooking With Your Garden on April 10.

Get the young one started now on that good old pasttime of baseball with Lansdale's T-ball registration on March 17 from noon to 8 p.m.

Peter Cottontail is coming down the trail—Easter Egg Hunt registration opens April 11 for the April 12 event.
