Towamencin Township Police has become stronger by one.

Last Wednesday, Towamencin Township Board of Supevisors Chairman Dan Littley swore in the newest police officer, Amber Nicole Culton, 28.

Culton is a Perkasie native who received a degree in criminal justice from Drexel University. She also attended University of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia Biblical University. She previously worked at Deluxe Corporation and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers. Culton graduated Pennridge High School in 2003.

She worked as a public safety officer for Valor Security in Montgomeryville prior to her police department employment.

She graduated from the Montgomery County Municipal Police Academy in March 2014.

Culton lives in Quakertown with her husband and four sons.
