TINTON FALLS, NJ – A.J. Perri is back helping veterans in need – this time launching a search for veterans and their families through a partnership with ABC-TV.
As part of the A.J. Perri Cares Program, a lucky New Jersey veteran and their family will receive air conditioning/heating relief this summer.
"They fought for our country, and their families sacrificed," said Kevin Perri,Vice President of A.J. Perri. "Providing them with heating or air conditioning is not a matter of work - it's an opportunity for us to give back to those who are so deserving."
The program will cover an air condition/heating system equipped with the popular “Nest” thermostat. Veterans can be nominated for the award until May 27 by clicking here.
The A.J. Perri Cares program has always been involved with helping military veterans. According to a company press release, the program also supports Serenity Stables in Atlantic Highlands. Serenity Stables “employs horses as therapy animals for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as special events for others who can benefit from a relaxing day in the field.”
"Everyone involved with the program is deeply affected," Perri said. “When you learn how much the veterans have sacrificed, our employees can't wait to be involved with the next one. All are vying to participate in the next opportunity, based on what they have heard and seen."
The press release said the new partnership with WABC-TV has “brought broader community awareness of the program, which already this year has aided veterans in South Amboy and Brick.”
