NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Borough Clerk Rich Phoenix is reminding North Plainfield residents that recycling will not be picked up on Friday due to the Independence Day Holiday, and asks that the blue bins be kept off the parade route beginning at the High School and ending at Stony Brook School.

“We don’t want to see our parade route festooned with blue recycling buckets and bundled newspapers,” said Phoenix.

The parade route starts on Wilson Avenue, head east on Green Brook Road, come south on Somerset Street to Borough Hall, back west on Lincoln Place to north on Grove Street and down to Stony Brook School.
