WARREN, NJ - May 1 was National College Decision Day. In many cases it is the deadline for students to make deposits to attend the college of their choice. One of the great traditions at Watchung Hills is that seniors wear clothing representing their choice for the fall. And it even has a Twitter hashtag of #DecisionDay
Haven't decided yet? It's ok.
Some students take a gap year, to travel, do internships, and work before deciding. It's ok. Breathe deep and be happy with whatever your choice is.
For profit institutions often have rolling admissions. Many students apply early decision or may not wait until the last minute to make their decision or may still be applying. In some community college sectors many students apply for admission well after May 1.
And just because a student submits a deposit doesn’t mean they will actually enroll in the fall. Some students don't decide yet and submit deposits to multiple institutions.
