NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ -- The North Plainfield Library has invited experts in the Affordable Care Act, or ObamaCare, to visit twice a week from November 15, 2014 through February 15, 2015. These experts have been trained by SRA International, and can help anyone with questions understand the Affordable Care Act, what responsibilities Americans have under the act, and how individuals and families can benefit from the program.
You do not have to be a North Plainfield resident to get assistance.
There is no need to make an appointment. SRA International representatives will be available Tuesday evenings from 3:30 to 8:30 p,m. and Saturday from November 15, 2014 to February 15, 2015 from noon until 4 p.m.
SRA International representatives will also help people who are ready to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. Resapplying for coverage in the Health Insurance Marketplace, make sure you bring:
- Social Security numbers for all household members (or immigration papers)
- Employer and income information for every member of the household who needs coverage (pay stubs, W-2 forms, etc.)
- Current health insurance plan information for everyone in the household.
