GREEN BROOK, NJ - The Green Brook Police Department will host the third annual ‘National Night Out’ event on Tuesday, August 1 from 6-9 p.m. at the Green Brook Middle School, 132 Jefferson Avenue, Green Brook.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods a safer, better place to live.
This year’s event will include activities for children, a meet and greet with local police officers, giveaways and music from Party People Promotions. There will also be representatives from local community organizations and local businesses on hand including Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Capital Craft, Crystal Motors, Outback Steakhouse and Starbucks Coffee.
Parking will be available in the parking lot of the Green Brook Middle School and on Jefferson Avenue, and all are invited to participate.
Said Chief G. Christopher Kurz, “Hosting National Night Out has been a very rewarding experience. The officers truly appreciate this opportunity to speak with our residents, and every year it brings a greater response from the community. As always, we look forward to spending time with the people, businesses and community groups who make Green Brook a great town and contribute their time and resources to making this a great event.”
