Forecasters anticipate hazardous travel conditions statewide.

Be prepared for icy road conditions in Warren, especially Hillcrest Rd., Morning Glory Rd., Warrenville Rd., and Washington Ave. Visibility could be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less at times, and snow-covered roadways will create hazardous travel conditions. Drivers are urged to use caution.

In the event you lose power, contact your local power provider and not Police Communications unless an emergency exists:

Help the Department of Public Works with snow removal by removing your vehicle from the side of the road. Do not push snow from your driveway back onto the street and do not call 9-1-1 about snow removal from your street.

After the storm, remember to clear all snow and ice for your vehicle, sidewalks and fire hydrants.

Be prepared in case of power outages. Charge your electronics, get batteries, flashlights and candles ready.

Heater Meals are NOT intended for use in a microwave oven.

The Office on Aging and Disability Services, located at 27 Warren St. in Somerville, will be closed to walk-ins.  Clients and caregivers needing information or assistance may call 908-704-6346 or toll free 1-888-747-1122 and leave a message.
