WATCHUNG, NJ - Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean Jr. (R-Union, Morris, Somerset) will join Somerset County Police Officers and Sheriff Frank Provenzano at a special anti-bullying event at Valley View School in Watchung. The assembly is designed to bring students and community members together in an effort prevent bullying across the district. Watchung Hills Regional High School student leaders will be on hand to teach Valley View School middle students how to be “upstanders” against bullying. 

When: Thursday, April 2, 2015; starting at 9:15 a.m.

Who: Hosted by students and staff from Valley View School and Watchung Hills Regional High School.

Availability: Senator Kean will offer a motivational speech, followed by remarks from Somerset County Sheriff Provenzano and Officers Pino and Mackey and presentations from Watchung Hills Regional High School students. After the assembly, Senator Kean and officers will also participate in training with students and small group interactions.
