In the weeks since the inception of the FEED TO GIVE program, the effort has raised more than $10,000 for Somerset County food banks through fundraisers in Basking Ridge and Warren. Collaborating with the Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce, a team of local volunteers clad in protective gear will place the pre-ordered chicken directly into the trunks of residents' cars at the pick-up site. Afterwards, the volunteers will deliver any remaining chicken to the food bank, and will continue to deliver chicken on a weekly basis.
FEED TO GIVE's mission is to provide food for our families, empowering communities to aid local charities and those who rely on them. 100% of the proceeds benefits local charities.
