PLAINFIELD, NJ - This will be the second year that Netherwood Heights Neighbors (NHN) will collect pet items for the Plainfield Area Humane Society (PAHS).
The NHN organization will be accepting donations through Saturday, December 17, 2016, and items should be brought to 881 Leland Avenue in Plainfield. Bags may be left on the porch.
Please consider the following types of donations:
- Cat litter
- Dry and canned cat food
- Dry dog food only
- Paper towels
- Unscented bleach
- Dish soap
- Gift cards (i.e. Petco)
- And, of course, you may donate your time
PAHS cares for and rehabilitates stray, abandoned and unwanted animals. The non-profit organization also provides educational programs on pet care and responsible ownership for scout, school, church, business and library groups. These programs cover the social, health and humane aspects of living with domestic and wild animals in urban and suburban communities.
Netherwood Heights Neighbors is a 501(c)(3) organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Its mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life within the NHN geographical boundaries by creating opportunities through education and charitable endeavors, acting on all issues pertaining to the neighborhood, and developing and broadening citizen safety, representation and awareness within a growning and diverse Netherwood Heights constituency.
