NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Set to open its doors in September, New Jersey Classical Academy (NJCA) at 100 Norwood Avenue in North Plainfield will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. At this time, interested families will have the opportunity to tour the parent-inspired K-8 school and meet teachers while enjoying refreshments and socializing with current and potential families.

Founded by Arthur and Joanne Pacotti, NJCA uses a Classical Christian program that promotes critical thinking and analytical skills while providing a well-rounded, nurturing and innovative place for students and families. Classical Christian is rooted in Biblical principals across all subjects; it aims to ensure students have a deep understanding of what they are taught so they can apply their new knowledge to daily life and develop into confident independent thinkers.

According to Joanne, the school boasts a safe and spacious environment featuring small classes (max 12:1 class size), along with a commercial kitchen and gymnasium, and offers a stimulating curriculum that includes foreign languages, Singapore Math, instrument lessons, cursive handwriting starting in kindergarten, ‘hands on’ learning with monthly field trips and more.

“NJCA students enjoy a positive place where they can comfortably express themselves, explore ideas, which is necessary to develop leadership skills and resilient character,” said Joanne, who has close to two decades of experience in classical education.

Additionally, NJCA’s diverse team brings 20+ years of teaching experience, compassion and a structure that ensures all learners benefit from a curriculum where kids are appropriately challenged and actively engaged.  “At NJCA, your child will receive a strong foundation through a liberal arts education with a biblical worldview that emphasizes a broad scope of curriculum, which is transferable to the learning of any subject or craft,” Joanne added.

Enrollment for September 2015 at NJCA is currently under way. In addition to the Aug. 29 ribbon cutting, NJCA is holding weekly Open Houses on Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. For more information, contact Joanne Pacotti at (908) 358 5285.
