GREEN BROOK, NJ - According to police a man entered the lobby and offices of the Ivory Tower Motel in Green Brook early Saturday morning brandishing a handgun and demanding cash from the desk clerk. The desk clerk complied and the robber made off with an unknown amount of cash from the till.

Officers responded to a call by the motel staff at 4:49 a.m. where they were told that the suspect was a light skinned African-American man wearing dark pants, a white hooded sweatshirts and a swath of dark clothing across his face. After taking the money the suspect fled on foot, and there were no injuries.

Green Brook Police Chief G. Christopher Kurz said that the suspect, who has not been identified as yet, is not currently a suspect in any other robberies.
