SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ  – The Somerset County Recycling Center, located at 40 Polhemus Lane, will be closed Friday, Jan. 1, in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.

Recycling pickup for residents of North Plainfield and Green Brook, and Canal Walk and Somerset Run in Franklin Township, will be Monday, Jan. 4.

Due to the holiday, some recycling pickups scheduled in Somerset County the week of Jan. 4 may be delayed. Residents are asked to leave their recyclables at the curb.  Remaining collections will be completed as soon as possible. The Somerset County Recycling Division thanks residents for their patience and understanding.
