BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Leather Necks beat the Devil Dogs, 21–3, in the sixth annual Basilone Bowl football game, held Thursday at Bridgewater-Raritan High School. Five Canucks and eight Warriors played for the Devil Dogs.

The game is played in honor of late Marine John Basilone. Senior football players from every school in the county, and Delaware Valley, are chosen to play as part of either the Devil Dogs or the Leather Necks in a final football game near the end of the school year.
