NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Bruce Weyand threw a complete game, striking out 11 and allowing just five hits to lead the North Plainfield varsity baseball team over Pingry on Thursday, 5-4.


Down after the fifth inning, North Plainfield scored three runs in the sixth to tie and the winning run in the seventh. Terrance Jones went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for the Canucks.


Max Keller had one triple and one RBI for Pingry.


North Plainfield improves to 8-4 on the season and Pingry drops to 8-7.
