NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ,  – The Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council announced today that it will host a free model rocket building night at the Vermeule Community Center in North Plainfield (614 Greenbrook Rd.) on Thursday, May 12 at 6:30 pm. Boys in grades K-4 and their families (including sisters) are welcome to attend. Families are asked to RSVP at ppcbsa.link/rocket to ensure there are enough rockets for all.

Families will have the chance to build a rocket for each child to take home that night. The first scheduled launch will take place Saturday, May 21 at Watchung Reservation beginning at 10 am. More launch dates are scheduled throughout the spring and summer.
