NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Princesses, superheroes, pirates, ghosts, and other costume-clad children and adults are invited to take part in the annual Halloween Parade sponsored by the Borough of North Plainfield Department of Parks and Recreation on Sunday, Oct. 30.

The parade will step off from West End School at 1 p.m. and conclude at the Vermeule Playground; in the event of inclement weather, the parade will be held in the North Plainfield High School gym. Registration begins at 12 p.m.

Prizes will also be awarded in various categories: most original (both group and individual), cutest (up to kindergarten), prettiest, local hero (cops, fireman, etc.) scariest, superhero, funniest, and villain.
