SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Nathaniel Brown, age 19, of Plainfield was arrested Wednesday by South Plainfield Police Department detectives McNelly and Parada for the bank robbery of the Wells Fargo located on 905 Oak Tree Ave.
The incident occurred on April 14, when Brown entered the bank, walked up to a teller and demanded cash. Brown has been charged with robbery and is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in North Brunswick. No bail has been set at this time.
Authorities are still seeking the whereabouts of Marlon Peek, age 39, of East 6th Street, Plainfield who is wanted in connection to this bank robbery and also the bank robbery which occurred on Tuesday at the PNC Bank in South Plainfield. Authorities have not yet announced if Nathaniel Brown and Marlon Peek are responsible for bank robberies in Dunellen and Middlesex earlier this month.
