Nick Sauter, resident of Little Falls, NJ, is still seeking a living kidney donor. He is in renal failure and on dialysis 3 times a week.
He is a former college and high school football player, who played for Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, between 1973-77, on a full scholarship as an offensive lineman. His team was undefeated in 1976. Unfortunately, his kidneys failed due to anti-inflammatory medications taken to help with football related injuries.
Nick is a parishioner of St. Agnes Episcopal Church where he served on their Vestry and was very active with their food pantry until he became too ill. He is a Certified Volunteer for the NJ Sharing Network and the Morris County Transplant Group.
Nick is currently listed at St. Barnabas in Livingston, NJ. He is an A- blood type for direct donation, but his center recognizes paired donation (Living Donor Kidney Exchange Program or Swap.)
His transplant coordinator at St. Barnabas is Donna. Please call her at 973-322-5047to be tested. There is no greater feeling than knowing you brought life to another human being.
Please share this page, so he can stop dialysis, watch his 3 grandchildren grow up and enjoy retirement with his wife and caregiver, Debbie. Please call Donna at 973-322-5047 to be tested or follow the below link. Thank you
