NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – North Plainfield Mayor Michael Giordano, Jr. will host the borough’s Annual Senior Citizen Picnic on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Vermeule Community Center from 12 to 4 p.m. (doors open at 11:45 a.m.).

This year’s picnic will feature a buffet-style lunch and the musical performance ‘Scotch, Soul, Rock ’n Roll’ starring Ron Gartner, and raffle prizes. Additionally, prizes will be raffled off throughout the event.

The Annual Senior Citizen Picnic is open to all North Plainfield residents 55 years of age and older. Tickets, which cost $1 each, are required and can be purchased at the Mayor’s Office, at senior citizen meetings or by contacting the Mayor’s Administrative Assistant at (908) 769-2902
