WESTFIELD, NJ — Trader Joe’s is warning customers that some packages of Trader Joe’s Raw Cashew Pieces with the barcode number 00505154 may be contaminated with Salmonella. The lot affected is marked “Best Before 07.17.2016TF4,” it said.
Out of an abundance of caution, the company said, all lots of Trader Joe’s Raw Cashew Pieces have been removed from store shelves and their sale has been suspended while it investigates this matter. It said that no illnesses had been reported.
Customers can return affected packages to any Trader Joe’s store for a full refund.
