WARREN, NJ – A trio of Watchung Hills hurlers allowed no runs on just one hit, and the Warrior offense banged out eight hits led by Sullivan Bean’s 2-for-3 performance with three RBI’s and a run scored to lead Watchung Hills to a 6-0 victory over North Hunterdon. The victory improves Watchung Hills’ record to 12-2 on the season.

Watchung Hill’s Dan Roth collected his third win of the season for the Hustlin’ Warriors. Roth, Nick Cortes and Kevin Sylvestri kept North Hunterdon batters off balance all game.

After Tuesday’s win against Hillsborough Coach Tremarco said “we’re taking it one game at a time, needing pitching, timely hitting and defense.”

The Hustlin’ Warriors once again got timely hitting, good pitching and a defense that was good enough to win. The Warriors Chris Roth was 1-for1 at the plate with a double two runs scored, two walks an RBI and a stolen base. The Warriors’ Ed Poggi added a solo homerun.
