Watchung Hills for Warriors to Host 4th Annual Cornhole Championship and Music Festival Saturday

STIRLING, NJ -  Watchung Hills for Warriors will be hosting the fourth annual Watchung Hills Cornhole Championship and Music Festival at the Stirling Elks lodge at 1138 Valley Road on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m to 8 p.m.

The event benefits the Semper Fi Fund, an organization that provides financial assistance and support to post-9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the United States military to help in their recovery and transition back to their communities,. 

The double-elimination cornhole championship will include social and competitive brackets based on the results of an initial round of pool play that will guarantee multiple games for each two-person team regardless of skill level.

Cash prizes will be given out in both brackets. For those only interested in the music festival, general admission for adults will be $5 and free for kids under 17, veterans and active duty members of the military.

The event will include performances by Bone Daddy, 94 Proof, Animal Masks, Anthem, The Denigrators and Vintage Vinyl.

Founders Brewery has been named as the official beer sponsor for the event. Registration for the tournament can be done via their website: http://www.wh4w.org.
