WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills Regional High School remains without power on Sunday morning after a storm in the early hours of Saturday morning knocked down a tree and wires across Regional Drive. A crew has been dispatched and JCP&L, “expects to restore power to the majority of affected customers by today(Sunday) at 3 p.m.”

 

All sports and PAC Center activities were canceled at WHRHS on Saturday due to downed trees and wires on campus, police said.The WHRHS website still reads, “WHRHS Campus Closed 8-19-18. Due to downed utility poles and wires, the high school campus is closed today, August 19th, for all events and athletic and co-curricular practices.”
