WARREN, NJ - The Watchung Hills boys and girls both topped Hillsborough on Thursday with three players scoring more than 20 points.

Chad Martini and Elijah Lewis each scored 23 points to lead Watchung Hills over Hillsborough in Warren, 85-39. Trevor Bokach added  13 points, 11 assists and five steals. Andrew Drinkwater led Hillsborough with 13 points.

“Good bounce back win... essentially survive and advance from here on in as we got tough Franklin and then a very tough draw where we open up at Hunterdon Central, who has beaten us twice,” said WHRHS head coach Justin Salton.

At Hillsborough, Sophomore Julia Puglisi led Watchung Hills with a career-high 25 points, including 5 three-pointers, and Morgan Groff pitched in 10 points for the Warriors (5-6) as they topped the Raiders (3-4) in Hillsborough. Junior Bella Murray added 4 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for Watchung Hills. Ashley Nitschke and Morgan Hodorowski had 14 and 13 points, respectively, for the Raiders.

The Watchung Hills boys and girls both face Franklin on Saturday. Hunterdon Central upset Gill St Bernards on Thursday, 57-49.
