ANNANDALE, NJ - The Watchung Hills boys fencing sabre squad won the State Squad Championship at North Hunterdon High School on Saturday, a first in Watchung Hills history. The Watchung Hills Girls Fencing epee squad finished 2nd at the State Squad Championships and Foil finished 11th on Sunday.

“Congrats to our boys fencing sabre squad on winning the schools first ever Squad State Championship,” said Dan Root, WHRHS Director of Athletics. “We are very proud of this great accomplishment.“

The boys fencing sabre squad is: Vijay Ganta, Will Margulies, Victor Osoliniec, and Kevin Zu.

Osoliniec will continue to Fence at Yale University next year.
