Watchung Hills took a 36-34 lead into the half but the Panthers came out on a 23-11 third quarter tear to take the lead.

Senior Olivia Ortelli led six Panthers players in double figures with 14 points for Bridgewater-Raritan.

Watchung Hills dropped one of its four season losses to the Panthers in December.

"I want to thank the players and coaching staff for the most memorable season," said WHRHS head coach Maurice Kirchofer. "Our players surprised everyone going from unranked before the season to a 21-5 record.  These players do everything the right way and make me so proud.  They all have a bright future, and a special farewell to my 3 classy seniors Emma Zucker, Amy Hackett and Rachel Sabnani.

The Lady Warriors truly Took our team slogan RISE UP to heart and Rose to every occasion.  Thanks for all who supported us this year!"

"Congratulations to our girls basketball team on a terrific season," said WHRHS Director of Athletics Chris Van Vliet. "We are so proud of your effort and for providing us all with so many wonderful memories this winter. Congratulations to Coach Kirchofer, his staff, and our players. A special congratulations to Julia Cunningham on becoming the school's all-time leading scorer.  What a remarkable achievement! We look forward to another great basketball season next year from our Lady Warriors."
