WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills senior Alexa Santo scored her 1000th career point on her way to a game-high 15 points to lead the Warriors over Bound Brook 54-41 Tuesday and advance to the Somerset County Semifinals.  (See video here) Sophomore Bella Murray also pitched in 15 points and added 7 rebounds for the Warriors. Mahogany Jenkins added 14 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 blocks while Scarlett Glasser-Nehls added 10 points for Watchung Hills. Arianna McCleod paced the Crusaders with 14 points.

“Obviously a very special night for our program advancing to the county semi-final and Lex Santo getting her 1000 point,” said WHRHS head coach Reese Kirchofer.  “So proud of our effort after being off for two weeks.  Our kids as they have all season have played as such a unified group! Every celebration with this group is so special just want to keep the season rolling!  Thanks to our great fans who gave us a nice lift tonight!”
