WARREN, NJ - Senior Julia Cunningham led the Watchung Hills Lady Warriors with 19 points and 15 rebounds over Bound Brook on Tuesday in the quarter final round of the Somerset County Tournament, 43-40.

Sophomore Mahogany Jenkins chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds for Watchung Hills, who improved to 20-2 on the season. Cameron Ward led the Crusaders (20-2) with 13 points.

“Congratulations to Coach Kirchofer, his staff, and our girls basketball Warriors on a terrific win today and advancing to the county tournament final four,” said WHRHS Director of Athletics Chris Van Vliet. “We are very proud of you and we wish you the best of luck in the semi-finals on Thursday.”

Watchung Hills will next play Franklin in the Somerset County semi-finals on Thursday.
