WARREN, NJ - After double overtime, the Watchung Hills and North Hunterdon varsity girls' soccer game ended in a 2-2 tie on Friday.

North Hunterdon scored first and Ava Prisco tied it up with a rebound shot off the North keeper. Lauren Dolce scored two minutes later off an assist from Prisco making the score 2-1 in favor of the Warriors. North Hunterdon scored with 12 minutes left in the game to send it to OT. Arden MacNeil and Nicole Wilson got the goals for North Hunterdon.

“I’m extremely proud of the way we battled and competed tonight,” said WHRHS head coach Brian Figueiredo.  “North Hunterdon has a great team and we went toe to toe with them for 100 minutes.  We had a lot of gutty individual performances that gave our team a chance to win and we’ll need the same effort and energy moving forward.”
